    Hey guys,
just started to get some BSOD's not too long ago...
Most were the default page not in page area, or today I just got a PFN LIST CORRUPT BSOD..
Everytime this happens, I force shut down my computer so my memory isn't dumped *friends advice
But when I turn the computer back on, my monitor won't turn on so I'm guessing the hardware isn't working.
I read around that it could be a ram problem, so I take out a stick of ram and my computer works fine...
Currently I have 512mb, but at times I put back in my 2nd stick of 512mb and it'll work fine for a little bit and then the BSOD comes back.
I switch the ram sticks and the computer works perfectly, with one in only.
This is how my ram is set up | | | |, with the patterns blue black blue black.
The only slot with ram in is the farthest left [blue].
The other blue slot seems to not be working since when I take out the first blue slot and put it in the 2nd blue slot, CPU won't respond.

    Any ideas? :(

    AMD Anthlon 64 Processor
    3700+
    2.20ghz 512mb ram Corsair PC3200
    WinXP SP2
    nVidia GeForce 7300 GT 512MB

right, so, your only using the blue slots, correct ?

try installing both DIMMs in the black slots & see how it goes, also i'd recommend you run Memtest 86+ with both sticks installed & again on each individual stick, then if unsuccessful move both stick back to blue & re-test both & individual sticks and see if any of the above configs work
