Building a new gamming computer

    just looking for peoples thoughts on it

    CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb
    Motherboard - GIGABYTE GA-MA790GPT-UD3H
    Graphic - XFX HD-577A-ZNFC Radeon HD 5770
    RAM - CORSAIR XMS3 4GB
    Power - Recertified: PC Power and Cooling Silencer 750 Quad Red 750W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI
    Case - COOLER MASTER Storm Scout SGC-2000-KKN1-GP

    then also gonna get a cpu cooler thinking of the ZALMAN CNPS9700

    I think that that is a very nice machine, but if I were building a PC like that, then I'd go with a stronger VGA - HD5850 or something.

    ya id like an 5850 but im on a budget and the 5770 should work just fine for me

    well, in a budget case, HD5770 is the way to go, I agree. I am satisfied w/ the performance, but I reckon that it'll reach its limits soon.

    ya well no matter what you get it all becomes out of date way to fast :(

    ...and the time that it takes for a system to get outdated has shortened severely in the past couple of years.

    Unless you go for a overkill at the dawn of a new technology (like now - a latest lga13xx cpu + 2x dx11 dualcore cards + gigs of ram @ 2.0 ghz), you're sure to reach your systems borders now - in benchmarking software for example and newer games at big resolutions.
