Call of Duty - 9/10

You should consider "Call of Duty: United Offensive" and, of course - the sequel "Call of Duty 2" as well.

Yea, I eventually will; right now I'm planning to get "Company of Heroes" (RTS War Game). It got great reviews.
 
Ahh, god! Company of Heroes looks like such a kick-ass game...the demo was insanity. If you were to zoom in the closest you possibly can, the graphics look exactly like Call of Duty, which is pretty damn good for an RTS. Plus, it's made by Relic, the same blokes who developed Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, a great game!
 
yeah, can't wait to try it out; i saw screenshots of the game, and it was one of the best i've ever seen
 
Also, if you're looking for more decent war-games, try Brothers in Arms and its expansion, Earned in Blood. If you think Call of Duty was gritty, this one will make you sick to your stomach. The game starts off with your untimely demise, and then goes back in time. It has the sick idea to introduce a squad of cheerful, interesting characters and kills them off one by one...saddening. It's a very good game, though, and very hard. Try it out.
