just wondering of a good motherboard makes all the difference. what happened to me was that i had the EVGA nforce 680i but it was faulty and so i exchanged it for the abit AW9D Max and £60 refund. however in some things i can tell that the evga was faster, when converting songs from wma to mp3 in itunes it was superfast and the abit takes its time. Is this motherboard related or what coul dit be?
The chipset itself, drivers, or just a particular hardware combination. It's really hard to say. It could also be related to a BIOS setting...who knows. Also keep in mind that percieved settings don't always work out in reality.
