My 'old' Dell was stolen from my car...and I subsequently purchased a new HP (dv5-1012nr). My question surrounds the fact that I had multiple extra ac adapters for my Dell (so I wouldnt' have to tote one to work, then back home, etc.)...however, the specs on the HP adapter are different: see below. Thus, my question is whether it's 'safe' to use the Dell apapters (given the differenes in amps and voltage) on the HP? Note: the port sizes are the same and seemingly inserts fine (haven't done this when plugged in).
