"Cannot rename, access denited" - STFU! NEED A FIX!

    Dude are u using a limited account?? If u are then u just need to switch to an administrator acct.

    im on an admin account (not THE "administrator" account) but admin privilidges.

    this error is a MS code error and i was wondering if any1 knows if they've actually bothered to put our cash to use and fixed the bloody and made a patch thing but obviously not

    right click the folder > go to the security tab. Check if you have full permission on the folder.

    it delete's fine after a reset its not what your suggesting that's the problem. i have permissions etc but this error is a fault, all im asking is if any1 knows of a fix for this error it cant be fixed by changing options

    wow haha. Nice one Karan. So, the answer to your original question, Dwarfer, is that it appears that Microsoft has indeed pulled their thumbs out of their asses.

    so it seems, however their statement of "this fix will be in our next update" didnt get very far, well i must be the only one that hasnt received the updated patch yet

    Best way to find this is through internet explorer...
    Open IE go to toos > Windows Update n see all the updates, it will also tell you about your hardware updates...
