Ok, my Dad was trying to clean the heatsink on his Gateway computer and managed to break one of the fan blades . We ordered a new fan, but can't for the life of us figure out how to take out the heatsink screws. We got the heatsink off the motherboard, but can't get the screws out to place the new fan on top of it. The screws are sort of spring-loaded, with a screw head on top that doesn't seem to do much but loosen and tighten things.

Thanks, but we already have the heatsink off...it's a matter of getting the screws out to reseat a new fan on top.
