    Hello,

I am having problems getting my external monitor to run at 120 Hz. It seems to be stuck at 60 Hz. A dual-link DVI-D cable is used to hook up the monitor to a docking station which is in turn connected to my laptop via my USB 3.0 port.

    My set-up:

    Samsung 23" Widescreen 120 Hz LED 3D Monitor (S23A700D)
    Sony Vaio Laptop
    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit
    Intel Core i5-2430M CPU @ 2.4 GHz
    AMD Radeon HD 6470M
Targus USB 3.0 SuperSpeed Dual Video Docking Station (ACP70USZ)
    Dual-Link DVI-D Cable

Thanks in advance for any help.

Seems like a detection issue. Does Samsung have a software driver available for that screen. Alternatively there should be an option in Windows to choose non-supported refresh rates. But make sure you choose the correct refresh rate.
