can'tupdate AVG 7.1.0.405

    I try to get priority update downloaded as recommended, but update hangs and never finishes. I uninstalled zonealarm as I thought that was the problem. But still can't get the virus updates. Can someone help. Thanks.

    Try using [google]Avast antivirus[/google] instead of AVG, I hear good things about it.

    Avast AV is the best AV software available (and it's free)

    is the problem sorted now? because I use to have a similar problem and I just updated to the latest version from the site which fixed the problem.

    I think the download server is/was down or having problems?
