CD/DVD Problem

    Hi to all,
    I have just purchased a Advent 7001 Laptop off E-bay. The CD/DVD spins but doesn't do anything, It's not showing up in control panel or device manager it would seem it's not there??? Please help.

    Right click my computer>hardware>device manager and see if its detecting your drive.
