CD keys

    Just a quick question, i know that if two people try to use the same cd key for online play, they cant. but is this the case with lan gaming? i know its illegal but as a hyperthetical situation if i made a copy of my c&c generals disc and gave it to a friend to install then we both used the same cd key for lan gaming, would it work

    It's illegal as the licence only entitles one user or computer.
