Is there anyway to change out a laptops video card? If so, please help me! I have a Dell Studio 17, with Intel core 2 duo 3.0 ghz and 4 gb of ram. It's just my video card that sucks, it's one of those Family things that is there just to run simple videos. Is there any video cards out there that I could look into installing into my computer?
Welcome to HWF Unfortunately the graphics card is integrated into the motherboard. There is no way to replace it. However there's an upcoming product, called ASUS XG Station. It's a device that you can use to connect a PCI Express graphics card to a USB port. I'm not sure about the release date, pricing and actual performance though.
