I have a laptop that's 3 years old, but the fan has always been noisy - the computer heats up very quickly. I don't want to overspend on cooling - the laptop isn't worth it, but is there an easy-ish way to quieten it?
A big hammer might work, Nope the only real way to fix is to replace the fan.. Is it the power supply fan, or systems fan ?
I think it's the system fan. But I'm having difficulty opening my laptop - even if I remove all the screws, something is still stopping it.
