I am having a 512 MB DDR 400 Hz memory. And I am not sure if it is single sided or double sided RAM. Because I am going to buy another RAM to upgrade my system, I want to make sure I buy the same category. How to know it?
    Thanks in advance.

When I checked the RAM by taking it outside the cabinet, I can see it is having IC chips on both sides of it. It means it is double sided right? Please clarify this. Thanks.

Chips on 1 side are single-sided RAM sticks; chips on both sides are double-sided sticks.
