Ok very close to buying a system now but split between the below system I will then have to get built costing about £50. Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40GHz (1066FSB) - Retail (£126.89) Gainward ATI Radeon HD 4850 512MB GDDR3 TV-Out/Dual DVI/HDMI (PCI-Express) - Retail (£111.61) Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS3 Intel P45 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (£88.11) Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64-Bit - OEM (66I-01939) (£77.54) Corsair TX 650W ATX2.2 SLi Compliant PSU (£70.49) NZXT Hush Classic Series Silent Midi-Tower Case - Black(£66.96) Samsung SpinPoint F1 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD502IJ) (£43.46) OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2 (OCZ2G8004GK) (£37.59) Samsung SH-S202N/BEBN 20x DVD±RW IDE Dual Layer Lightscribe ReWriter (Black) - OEM £17.61 TOTAL shipped £653.14 The alternative is this system below advertised pre built very well with a good guarentee from a very reputable site. "Ultima OC 9800GT" Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.40GHz @ QX6950+ 3.00GHz+ Quad Core DDR2 System This will cost me £717 delivered with Vista premium 64bit. Overall I think I would prefer a system with a 4850 card but the 9800GT is no slow mover itself. As you can see the built price is very similar but the hassle of a one click option from a good site is attracting me as I am a lazy bastard and could do without the hassle of getting someone to build it (I cannot do this wouldn't have a clue) and hoping they did it right. What do you think....
