Every time i try to reply using windows messenger or msn messenger I get the error:
error#: -310
error#: 81607
Not a corect index file
index file is exlusive locked or dos read- only--parent leaf mismatch invalid
ALL
Also my web cam wont work
I have run all the virus programs I can think of

try reinstalling msn messenger. but remove the old versions first.

windows messenger can only be removed by 'hacking' a registry entry, alternatively go start>>control panel>>add/remove>windows components
