College Laptops

For a college Laptop, used for school work and surfing, things that an average college uses a laptop for.... what is a good one for me to get

somthing in the £300-£500 range should be fine for your needs, no need to spend a mint (not sure of exchange rate or US market though)

if you're looking for a laptop that does basic functions and can be carried around without much hassle, then you should look at the asus eee pc. it's small, portable and does stuff like documents, and internet.:)
