Computer not booting up, help please!

    My computer was working fine since yesterday and today i tried to start it agian but it started and came up with windows xp booting up screen and again restarted and since then message coming " device noy detected " its not dedecting any harddrive from my computer .

    and even not showing any hard drive in the setup.

    Please help me regarding that.

    Are you able to get into safe mode ? at start up hit f8 key, then choose (last good configuration) or choose safe mode..If you can get into safe mode,go into help and choose system restore..

    Have you made any changes to your hardware, BIOS settings or installed a program in Windows before the problem started to happen?

    In my opinion the best way to solve your problem is to start again and install your operating system from scratch.

    This isn't the easiest way, but it's sure to get the most positive results.
