I just tried to play the AoE III demo and my computer just restarted, i tried it again and it did the same thing. I dont think im overheating, CPU-was at 36*C when i started it up, GPU-49*C, and My MoBo has been running kinda hot was at 43*C(AC isnt working very well right now usually idles at about 39*C), i just put on a new heatsink and AS 5 yesterday. Any ideas.

    err..... blam micro$haft?

its prolly something wrong with wondoze.

If you have a spare hard disk + 1 hour put the hd is place of your current hd, install windoze etc (dont forget your drivers!) and try running the demo.... if it works fine then blame micor$haft!!! :)

    No...

You say you installed a new heat sink? Be absolutely sure it is mounted properly, as if not, over heating could be induced. Those temperatures are not hot enough to be concerned again.

Perhaps check Microsoft's site, or any AoE supoprt forums. It is a demo, after all, and random crashes can be expected.

Also check your graphics card driver is up to date.

I think it might be a problem with the demo since my computer also crashed / restarted when trying to run the game.
