So the screen went blank. Inverter went out. Ordered a new one. Put it in, I smell a strange smell, and the screen smokes out of the bottom left corner. Screen does come on but flickers juuuuuust a tiny bit. Later the screen goes out fully. I cross referenced the numbers on the inverter. Mine is for an acer it looks like the company sent me one that works for a Dell computer but they claim it can also work for mine. Is it the inverter or did perhaps some wiring issue?
