i have no clue how to even configure what i need to or how i would go about installing an executable file to a directorty. if anyone could help that would be really cool
What OS are you doing this on? (hint hint its seems to run faster on *nix ) Folding@home Console Client: User Guide Extract All the Files into a folder, such as C:\folding (or even better /opt/folding ), bring up a terminal and get to the folder where you extracted the files... i cant remember the filename off the top of my head, but just type it into the terminal and push enter (on linux use ./<filename> to tell it to look in the current directory)
On MS, but i'm pretty sure i did it right, machine numbers one and two in two different folders, and they're both running so it seems to be working, thanks for the advice though
