Connecting DVI-D from monitor to DVI-I output in mobo ?

Hi,
You can try an adapter that can attach to your DVI-D cable that will plug into either an DVI-I or an HDMI output. There are also cables you can by with a DVI-D end and a DVI-I end as well. If you look at amazon.com, they sell some of these, just make sure you order the correct version with either female or male plug to match your cable.

I have connected harddisk with win xp installed (not sure if having SP) from my previos system. When I started the system, Intel logo is coming properly and also BIOS screen. But when it shows options like "Safe mode, Start windows normally etc... " and I selected "Start Windows normally" , and when Windows is about to start after boot option, a blue screen and system getting restarted.
So I tried starting in safe mode, And few drivers got loaded and then a blue screen showing the following,
A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.
Try changing video adapters.

If you can make it into safe mode, try uninstalling the video drivers and motherboard drivers. If you are moving this hard drive from one computer to another it will cause conflicts because of differences in hardware. If you still have your old setup that this drive came out of, put it back in, uninstall all drivers for systemboard and video, the try it in your new setup. If that doesnt work, you may have to reload windows xp onto this drive and do a clean install. Also, if you have a new video card in your new computer, take it out and try booting using onboard video if your system board has it. Then uninstall old drivers, reinstall new video card, then try again to boot.
