Connecting two HD's in a computer

    I have a hd from an older dell, about 2 years old. I am wanting to put it in a HP Pav. a1740n. The Dell drive is a diamondmax plus 9 Sata 150, 2.5 series.

    Anyone know of a site where it will tell me if these will work together? Also I cannot remember where to move the thingy to make one master and one slave. Any information you have or any other sites you may know of would be great. Thanks!

    yes, they will work together.

    to make it master, you have to move the "thingy" next to the power connector. :)
