I get to specific point during the game and it crashes 100% of the time.
It happens when I try to display a massive amount of units on the screen at once, (though during a different point in the game I was able to view over 1000 at a time...didn't crash just incredible slow down.)

    Throws me this error message:

The Instruction at “0x135a64a8” referenced memory at “0xec5d015a”. The memory could not be “written”.

I'm running the game on the following specs
    AMD 3200+ (Venice)
    1GB DDR 400 RAM
    Nvidia 6800GT 256MB PCI

at this point I'm thinking that my RAM is bad...but everything works fine so long as I don't play the game upto that point. I turn all of the settings down to their lowest and it still crashes. Any help would be awesome.

    PSU make and wattage?

Slowdown and crashing with mulitple units on screen can be one of many. i experienced the same kinda probs with B & W 2. I put it down to my graphics card not getting enough power.

In this months PC Gamer (UK) there is a small section saying that this has been happening to a lot of people and that there is a patch out with bug fixes, it doesn't say where the patch(es?) can be found though!
