What exactly are these...and do they take information from your computer?

I just deleted all the cookies stored on my computer...there was about twenty...now I'm back to logging in and being a guest in the arcade...maybe that was the problem with IE I was having...maybe it was set to not allow cookies?

can somebody clue me in? :good:

yep! I just tried to get into the arcade again and can't. And I have to log in constantly...had to log in twice just to post this..and my browser doesn't redirect me.

    more info [link=http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&oi=defmore&q=define:Cookies]here[/link]

what you can do in firefox is only allow hardwareforums.com cookies if you want, to do this...

go to Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies > Exceptions > Enter "hardwareforums.com" this should fix the proble you are having.

    Thanks! Sniper!
:good: It fixed part of the problem...but I now have to log in like with IE...with Firefox it just bypassed that part...I think I deleted some google cookies too...because the browser was slower than a turtle on ice...so I went back and " allow for sessions " a few things and it seems to have sped things up...should I just go back and do the same for all of it...? and should I even be concerned about cookies?

Oh! I alsothink I cleared " Download Manager"...should it ( the button that says "CLEAR" be unabled ( like how it fades when you can'y use it?
