Recently my computer has been lagging a lot, and when i press Alt+Ctrl+Del and i look at my CPU Usage it goes to 100% sometimes or around the 80s. I don't have any major programs opened so I dont know why my CPU Usage is 100%. Also when i restart my computer it takes a long time to load up my desktop. =/
Anyone have an idea of what's going on?.. :(

    Thanks.

    CCleaner.com

Download this and clean up your registry. that may speed up your start up time a little bit.

When anybody exits a program of any kind their CPU goes up to 100% usage. Think about it. Do you want to wait 10 second for things to happen just so that your CPU usage can stay low. You WANT your CPU usage to be 100% when you exit something or else you will have paid X amout of money for your prossessor and then you dont want it to work as fast as possible to save you time!

Thanks dude, this program helped a bit. :)

I'm not saying 100% usage is bad but I don't think it's right when it's just sitting on 100% all the time. When i try to do something it takes an extra minute. =/

    Oh i see.

Then what you need to check for, in task manager under the Processed tab, is programs that are utilising your processor that have the wrong priority settings. What im getting at is to check that there are no apps that are using processing power on a high enough priority that they outrank programs that you may open/close and therefore the programs you close/open will take longer because they must wait

Yeah, I just found out that a process named Mcshield.exe was in High priority, But I can't seem to set it on Normal. When I try to, it says Access Denied.

    Description:
mcshield.exe this process is associated with McAfee's Internet Security suite. More specifically, it is essential to the Antivirus software and should not be removed.

    Wat are your computer specs?

yeah systems specs may be your problem if a background virus app is slowing you down that much.
