Creating An Image Of Hard Drive Plus Multi Boot Info

If I create an Image of a 320GB hard drive to a usb 1TB portable hard drive is the portable hd partitioned or is a large file written on the portable hd.
Can the multi boot info be included in the image.
The program I was thinking of using is Paragon Backup Recovery unless there is a more suitable program.

Large file is written.

Image includes full backup of everything, including multi boot info if it was on 320GB drive.

No experience from that software.
