really need help with a serious issue here...... the problem with my pc is that it keeps shutting down automatically by itself whenever i play any game and sometimes even when i am carrying out some heavy memory operations like virus scan or the likes......
i don't think its a graphic card or RAM insufficiency problem since the games used to work fine in my pc until recently......is it an overheating issue?? if so what should i do???

    here are my system specifications........

possibly, download Speedfan to be sure, however, it is more likley to be a PSU issue, can you borrow a high quality PSU ?

what is the make & model of your PSU ?

is the gfx onboard (crappy) ?

virtual memory / pagefile / swapfile should be set at double the amount of RAM installed, unless certain software needs more

    I'd memtest it first off.
