We all know about my prehistoric CRT by now but I do belive something is rather a miss with him now. At random times the monitor starts...buzzing, like a staticy kind of noise, sort of. And this thin wavy line moves down the screen and distrorts the image in it's path. It happens a couple time a week but it's been going on for a while now. I take it the magnets are going? I'm curious if it's worth keeping it around after I upgrade (soon, lets hope) or if it's going to crap out on me at any time? Thanks.
I don't know. One of my CRT started squealing last night while in the no signal screen but when I turned on the computer it went away.
Sounds good, but I don't think you really live in an area full of tall buildings. Maybe throw it in the bay while plugged in.
We don't need buildings, we've good hills, hmmm, I like the plugged in idea though, better get a huge extension cord then.
Yea, or any other suitable body of water. Too bad you probably don't have too many swimming pools up there.
Is it going to blow up like we talked about before? record it haha, give her the bob parker treatment and put her out of her misery, then convince your parents for a new one haha yea theres something wrong with the bulb thing then, forget what its called haha
Yea, but that is waaaaaay more dangerous than throwing it in the water. But if you have a gun and some 1 inch thick lexan panels laying around go for the boom. Otherwise I wouldn't do it, not too fond of glass shards in my eyes.
Or just go out on a dock. They have outlets on them and judging by your location and occupation you have access to a dock... or 2. then you dont need as long of a cable. But it might sink too deep to see.... Throw it off the dock near the shore. But the owner might get pissed off when the circuit breaker blows.... Oh well you can figure something out.
Well I'm sure I can come up with something, if only my video camera worked Oh, but I think my digital camera has a movie mode, that should do the trick.
