Heya everyone My name is Pierre Hugo I'm 15 and live in South Africa I have an intel motherbord, an agp gfx and ddr ram I have two questions 1) I want to upgrade and I want to know if there are motherbords out there that can support ddr 266 pc-1200 ram and a duel core proseccor, if possible also support agp video card. 2) Are there motherbords out there that can support AGP AND PCI-E If this is a dumn question and there are lots then can someone recomend some to me if possible with some overclocking potential and a decent chipset, and inbetwean 100 and 200 dollars THNX in advance God bless you and your family, Jesus loves you
do you mean DDR 266Mhz PC2100 if yes, then yes there are loads, however you'd be best upgrading to a DDR2 (DDRll) motherboard i don't know about South Africa but in UK there are not many, it depends on the voltage your grfx card requires, newer AGP cards require 1.5 volts however older cards require 3.3 volts this motherboard is actually discontinued in UK but it actually supports both AGP (1.5V) & PCIe and DDR or DDR2, maybe you could find a motherboard like that in SA overclocking is not agood idea[ot]when upgrading on a tight buget, as you need to buy the best of everything when overclocking[/ot] glad to help[ot]if i did help[/ot]
