    Hello all,

I have a question regarding my ram speeds & timings and CPU speed in relation to getting the best speed balance out of it by either slowing down the RAM speed in exchange for faster timings. I know v v v little about the comparison in speeds and ram-CPU ratio settings and would appreciate your input on how I can tweek bits to better optomise the pc and squeeze every penny out of it.

I would imagine I would need to slow my RAM to increase the timings, but I don't know if this will improve things. I do a lot of video converting and gaming too. I understand that gaming and video converting require separate timings-speed settings.

I am going to slap my RAM and CPU info from CPUz and would appreciate you feedback.

    Thank you v much

You can hardly notice any difference if you tweak the timings, and it's gonna be a trial and error on which timings are stable. I think your RAM supports 1866Mhz, that should be good enough and with corsair you just need to change the speed in the BIOS to change it.
