Defragging question.

Whenever I try to defrag my C drive it just goes to 12% and then just stops. I've tried before and it just sat at 12% for over an hour. Maybe I have a lot of fragmented files or what?

It sounds like you may have some memory-resident programs interfering with your defragmentation process. Kill any software which is not critical for Windows operation, then do a full sweep with both spyware removal and anti-virus tools.
