Hi, I have an Inspiron 530S Slim Mini Tower, which came with a 250W (I think) power supply. I want to upgrade the video card to something more capable of running games, etc, and am looking at some of the GeForce 9500 and ATI 46xx options.. I haven't decided on the exact video card yet but will probably replace the power supply with something in that "general" range of cards. Since most cards require 18A on the 12V rail, I'd like to find a PSU that will handle that, and which will fit in the 530S Slim Case, hopefully something in the 400-500W range, preferably with an onboard fan, and which doesn't cost an arm and a leg... Can anyone give me some suggestions, brands, model numbers, etc? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
