dell hard drive install

    I have a Dell dimension 1100 computer XP Pro OS. Until recently it had a 80gb hard disk,added a 320gb hard drive. The computer reconized "new hardware installed "...It works ok but still thinks its a 80gb machine. I understand i have to enable some kind of large disk facility in Xp but have no idea how to do, also i have no idea what to change in the BIOS setting....thanks

    my computer > manage: go to storage devices (disk mgmt) and initialize/format the new hdd
