My LCD screen stopped working about a month ago. It is black and won't show a thing. However, the image is displayed if I hook up my computer to a moniter. I am about to buy a new screen off of someone, but I wanted to make sure that it would fix the problem first. Is it possible that my problem could lie in the motherboard or elsewhere? Should simply replacing the screen fix it?
