I had the common problem of charger http://www.rabaisbatterie.fr/acer-aspire-5920g-series.htm being plugged in but not charging, I tried all the reboot and tapping the power button etc, etc... None worked, so as long as the computer worked when plugged in I carried on, until now. It has completely died on me now, so help.

Did you replace the battery ? So now the laptop won't work now even when it is plug in ...This can be a number of things, bad AC/DC jack, or motherboard went out..

    Hello sneru nsoire,

I am from Dell Social Media and Community.

Your system is unable to start probably because of the Battery power is used completely.

Verify if the AD Adapter pin is intact inside the connector.
Try connecting your AC Adapter with a similar system.
If you can find a known good AC Adapter of a similar system in any local stores, try connecting it and check if your system is able to charge and boot up.

This should help you to confirm if you need to replace the AC adapter or the motherboard.

Let me know if you need any further assistance, I will be glad to assist.
