I got this Computer for free, and it runs good, BUT this computer is WAY to Big and Heavy... I won't to try to install the motherboard into another case... But It has a fairly large motherboard. So i am having a hard time finding another case that Is smaller and lighter.. Any Ideas ???
It might be an E-ATX or SSI form factor. If my Google-fu serves me well, I see it's a dual Xeon motherboard. Things get pretty tight when you throw another socket and RAM slots on a PCB. E-ATX/SSI cases won't be cheap, but aluminum is lighter than steel... Anyway, here's a link [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EATX]motherboard formfactors[/url].
Hi Big B, You are right, It is a Dual Xeon Motherboard... It is a BTX/SSI-EEB ... At least I think so.. The case is about 4 feet tall, and it ways a ton... I think I have found a case, But you are right it will not be cheap.. It is called Raven RV04B-W , Made by SilverStone.. Here is a link, I think this one would work, What do you think ? http://www.anandtech.com/show/7084/silverstone-raven-rv04-case-review
It turned out the case I need is a EE-ATX, Which is very hard to find the Motherboard measures 13.68x13 inch... Going to be a challenge to find..
