desktop wallpaper

    i have downloaded a desktop wallpaper and i haave tried to remove it but can`t is there anything i can do to remove it thanks:(

    How did you try to remove it? Have you tried changing it to a different one?

    yes i have but this one just keeps coming over top of it:mad:

    right click desktop then select desktop an select "None" in background list & <ok>

    Is that wallpaper an image or did you need to install it with an install wizard?

    Wats the location of that wallpaper?? Delete if from there...if u cant do it then try to do it through safe mode.

    Which OS you used.

    In WindowsXP all the inbuilt wallpapers are stored in the following path. C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper Simply C: is the system partition. Check there your wallpaper. You can remove any wallpaper you add there. But you can't remove inbuilt wallpapers.
