dimm 240?

    hi im going out today to by an asustek mother board, p4 skt 755

    i know its dimm 240 and not the usual 184 i had in the past! does this mean my currnet ram will not fit? and what exactly is the differece? is it the about of pins?

    They are slots for DDR2 RAM and you old RAM is DDR
    DDR2 RAM runs at higher speeds at the expense of low latencies. DDR RAM uses 184 pins and DDR2 uses 240 pins.

    Just to check aswell, make sure you get an LGA775 CPU as well as the motherboard, or your current P4 won't work!
