Does anyone know how I can disable DEP (Data execution prevention) in XP sp2 and Vista? It is not listed in the services-list. I want to disable it, because it thinks that allmost any of my programs are dangerous and shuts them down.
check You receive a "Data Execution Prevention" error message in Windows XP Service Pack 2 or in Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005
I found a command to disable DEP in Vista. Go to Start > Run. Then enter the command bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff. Then reboot.
