Disable onboard sound

    How do I disable the onboard Realtec AC"97 audio on my Asus A8NE M/board?
    I want to install S/B audigy2zs board. I could go to control panel and delete it but I think would just like to disable it . If it has to do with bios , ive never been there . Thanks for help . :(

    Due to the fact different models has different bios, I cant tell you correctly. But you can find it under Integrated Peripharels like [link=http://img102.imageshack.us/img102/2125/1609061913bh4.jpg]this[/link] picture..

    You will have to go into the CMOS setup to disable the onboard audio
