Hi, since i got my speed upgrade from 1mbps to "3.5mbps" (Actually 2mbps >:() from AOL, i have been experiencing lots of disconnections, about every 10 mins usually, may not get a disconnection for up to an hour sometimes, the strange thing is, it only happens at night, usually between 7pm, and 12pm, i dont know exatly when the disconnections stop as 12am is the time i go to sleep, i have contacted AOL, all they do is say ok, we will book a call out to you, once they called, couldent understand a word from the engineer, he said the problem will be fixed within 48 hours, 3 weeks later, i still am getting these disconnections, so i go to AOL Live help, they give me these instructions to do, even though i know they will 100% deffinitly not help as it's not software related, its somthing somewere else causing it, probs not in my house, AOL insists the instructions they gave me will deffinitly 100% solve my problem, but they dont, now the other strange thing is, when i use the BT Voyager 105 ADSL Model that i got when i first went onto AOL broadband, i never disconnect at all, its perfectly ok, exept for the fact i NEED to use the AOL software to connect to the internet, and its annoying because i need to connect back to the router when my dad wants to use the other computer as AOL does not allow ICS >:(. Anyway, i went back to AOL, told then about my problem AGAIN, this must be about the 10th time now >:(, they email me Generic router settings, say this will solve my problem, nope it doesent, so i decided to go and play with the router setting myself, see if i can fix it, and nope, still not working, since before been upgraded and then after been upgrade i did not change any router settings, so i dont understand how i could be my router :s. So, i am thinking maybe its somthing to do with the DHCP settings in the router?
This is what there is in there:

2 ??? 192.168.8. [?]
In the middle of making this thread my internet disconnected!, lucky for me i am using Opera so i did not loose anything =D.
I really want this sorted, its doing my head in and AOL dont know whats causing it and TBH i dont think there capable of sorting the problem out, i am more experienced than those AOL live help ppl, i think there just reading from a book, i mean the emails they send, the questions they ask are almost all the same. Hoperfully i will be moving to SKY Broadband when its avilable in my area, the thing is, if it is my router, i will still be experiencing these disconnections and my BT Modem wont work, does SKY Broadband send a router when you have subscribed?
**Edit***, Ok all these months of pain, and i think i may have sorted the disconnections by putting an adsl filter on the sky internet cable and also replacing the old adsl filter on the main plug socket.
