On startup, just after the desktop starts to load, I get the following message:

If I click on close, everything disappears and it freezes up. Can anyone give me advice??

    Thanks

Seems like your going to have to reinstall Windows. Does it always come on when you start up?

I'm running 98 at the moment. I'm going to try running a registry mechanic to see if that helps.

It only started doing this yesterday, so it hasn't been an ongoing problem. The only thing I've done recently is clean out the IE Temp files, but I doubt that it has anything to do with that.

Anyways, any help is appreciated. Thanks

To me it sounds like your FAT32 filesystem has eaten some of your critical system files... a typical problem for OS'es with a FAT filesystem. The only sensible solution is to reinstall, since if your system files are corrupted, there are probably 100's of other corrupt files as well.
