    "When you want to download a file from Microsoft, a WGA (Windows Genuine Advantage) check is performed. Microsoft installs a small piece of software on your computer that contacts the Microsoft server and checks the validity of your installed Windows software. If the test fails you will not be able to download the file(s). The following method gives you the ability to download every file from Microsoft without a WGA check."

    the required application (which you download from m$) runs under wine, this method works for now (i was able to download IE7 RC1 and Calc Plus... not that i have any use for them :p) but is likely to be alterd.

    The link to ghack doesnt seem to work but there is another place....
    Disable WGA

    EDIT, Its working now!

    Thanks guys. As I said before, Windows seems to think that my copy is "not genuine" and consistantly bugs me about it. This should help a lot. Cheers!

    you need to enter a new different serial key
