I had to reinstall windows xp after having it for about 2 years. I guess I have thrown away the driver cd's for the monitor and video card (stupid, I know) and now I am stuck in the lowest resolution possible. 640x480. I would just download the drivers, but I don't know which ones I need. Are there any freeware programs that can tell me the information about my monitor and video card without the drivers being installed? Thanks.

Yes there is, Everest (Trial Edition) will tell you enough information to get your GPU, Sound & chipset drivers, so your back to normal. Here's the download link:

Lavalys - Comprehensive IT Security and Management

Edit: Once you have it installed, run it and look for your drivers.. then do a google search and it should lead you to a download.
