Dual Bootup headache

    HI
    I Had windows vista ultimate and winxp sp2 as dual bootup on seperate partition. i used the r option to repair my xp after that it would straight boot into xp. how can i fix this.

    i have used vistabootpro. do not know how to use it in this situation.

    The best way to use a dualboot between xp and vista can be done by first installing XP (or repairing, what you did), then from xp load the vista installer, and choose for New installation. Choose a new partition (or the paritition where vista was installed. Then you have the vista bootloader, containing vista and xp.

    Yeh, but wat about my existing setup of vista. how do i make t active

    Look here.
    You've got XP installed already, but you can also perform step 1.

    vista is installed on d:/ xp on c:/ cd/dvd is f:.
    btw will my xp/previous os be listed in vista bootloader?
