hey i have a question regarding dualchannel i have this mainboard it has 4 ramslots with max support for 16 gb ram i have 2x2 in slot 1 and 3 which makes use of the dualchannel mode if i have understod right what i want to know though is this ,does dualchannel mean that i cant buy 1 x2gb ramstick and put into slot 2 or 4 so i get 6 gb , will i then have 6gb ram but no effect from the dualmode? wihat im trying to say is can i have 6 gb on this card like 3x2gb or must i have only 4-8-12-16 etc does dualchannelmode just mean that i can have 3 ramsticks on just that then it will be 6 gb in singlechannel mode
