Hi all,
I have been using my computer as a DVD player for several years now but have always noticed that the picture quality is inferior to that of a Stand Alone DVD player connected to a TV.
I have never been able to get the full quality of DVD on any pc I have had whether im using a Monitor or Flat Screen TV or whether I use VGA or DVI connections. Is there something special you have to do?
Also it never seems to make a difference what player software I use the quality is always grainy and at lower res.
My current setup is:
Ati Radeon HD 2900 XT
Samsung 32" HD TV
Windows Vista
