Guys I need some help. Media Player point blank refuses to burn DVDs so I had to go hunyting for software. I eventually picked up a copy of DivXToDVD, which seems to work - but when it comes time to stick the DVD in the player it won't work. I'd found another program before which had a "finalise disk" option, but like I say nothing will work. Can anyone suggest software, hints, anything to make this work? Cos I've already exhaustd like, 5 DVDs trying to fix it.

    Thanks guys (and gals!)

I have had this problem, where the disk would appear to burn, eject from the drive, but no data would be burnt.

Turns out the writer had a damaged driver or something, I reinstalled it (by adding/removing it and letting windows pick it up), and it worked fine.

Yeah could be that, also look for other software, DVD SHRINK is good, lets you adjust the quality and compression before burning to fit it all onto a single layer dvd+/-r
