i can`t send any e-mails getting this message

any one know what i can do in simple instructions please as i ain`t real good with computers thanks any help would be much appreciated:doh:

 

you should be able to send mail, cos SMTP (i think) is used to receive mail, POP is usually used to send mail[ot]i'll look into it[/ot]

Edit: what mail client are you using, is it OE ?[ot]have you tried changing it from SMTP to POP or POP3 (usually)

Edit: check ntlworld.com for the correct settings[/ot]

well ntlworld.com was recently taken over by virgin, so i'll just check the site to find out what your setting have changed to, back soon

i am not on ntlworld now have changed to pipex

 

what email client are you using?? and what smtp and pop servers u using?
